Government at all the levels today is faced with the daunting task of creating and maintaining systems that can help it connect with citizens securely and reliably in a simpler manner. Mascon takes a proactive approach of reaching out to the Central Line education/banking/tax/electoral/telecom Departments and extending support in implementation of their e-Governance projects.

Education Sector:

Our services comprise creating online and offline assessments, configuring attendance and hall tickets, creating drives, managing exam slots, and assigning test centres to candidates. The solution also helps manage the distribution of question papers and the evaluation of results management processes. Exams are conducted securely at certified test centres across the country. Exam officials have access to the command Centre (web-based) solution for real time monitoring of exams. It tracks the pre- and post-exam activities, which ensures transparency in the exam process.

Municipal Corporations:

At Mascon we help Municipal Corporations and Municipal Councils to go Digital, scan the documents and then we categorize and segregate the documents as per government guidelines (Category A; B; C; D etc.) and then digitize them as per their category. Our DMS software is capable to handle and segregate and store the documents. We also help them to create IT infrastructure so that with right access control, required officers and users as per their rights can access documents.

Government Tax Departments:

Mascon handles large volumes of data entry jobs with a very short turnaround time. For tax departments' Mascon generated the sales tax challans, VAT Challans and as well did data entry for Pune, Thane and Mumbai regions. This activity involved gathering data from the respective branches.

Electoral:

Mascon has prepared Voter Identity Card for the purpose of elections in 1994-95. Through the previously existing technology images were captured through photography and then mapped on the computer to prepare the voter identity cards. Work on voter identity card was done simultaneously at the respective centres and also at Pune where certain specialized work that was common to all centres were carried out.
